Crime of Passion
The blend has as its base a Sencha style green tea manufactured in Hunan Province in South Eastern China. Sencha green teas typically have dark green, needle shaped leaves and produce a pale green to yellow, very bright, smooth cup with a sweetish, honey like finish. The natural sweetness of this green tea makes it perfectly suited for blending with our dried Papaya pieces and natural passion fruit flavorings.

Extra Info:

What constitutes a crime of passion? Lovers driven wild with lust? Deception? Being pushed by the heart to cross the line? This blend, inspired by a visit to the sultry hot beaches of Rio de Janeiro captures all of this and more. Brazil is a land of lovers. On the Copacabana beach in Rio, time seems to stand still as Brazilians recline in the heat of the equatorial sun.

Ingredients:

green tea. sunflower petals, natural dried papaya, and natural passion fruit flavor

A fabulous and well balanced tea

I have a very sensitive nose, and the smell of the fruit was very overpowering. I was worried at first. I had a cup of hot tea and also cold brewed 16 ounces for 24 hours. Both were really lovely. Despite my hesitance, the tea was delicious. Neither fruit nor sencha overwhelmed the other. It was so flavorful that I skipped on the sweetener, but I think a high quality honey would work very well. I will try this tea next with orange blossom honey. Mmm, tasty.

In Love!!

I in love & now addicted to this luscious tea. I don't know what haunts me more, the intoxicating scent or the divine flavor (i add a little honey)! Can't keep sniffing the tea essence in the bag. Must get more...!!
