Lady Londonderry
This classic afternoon tea has hints of strawberry with lemon overtones. One of our most requested teas for tea parties.

Extra Info:

Edith Helen Chaplin was known as Lady Londonderry after her husband inherited the title of "7th Marquess of Londonderry" in 1915. She aided her husband by setting up an Officers' Hospital in her house during WWI, and was the first woman to be appointed to be a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the Military Division.

Another famous Londonderry was Annie Cohen Kopchovsky. She was the first woman to bike around the world in the 1890's. Londonderry Lithia, a spring water company paid her $100 to carry its name on her bike and also convinced her to take on its name. She was known from then on as Annie Londonderry.

Beaufitul in taste and smell

I have only used this in my Mist Iced Tea Jug but, even as a cold-steeped tea, you are enjoying it before you take your first sip. The smell of strawberries and citrus swirl around the lip of the cup but does not become overpowering with the first sip. It is a perfect companion to a warm summer evening on a porch swing. I usually take my iced tea "sweet" (loaded with sugar) but this fantastic mix doesn't need anything. Even the second steeping was wonderfully flavorful.

My Favorite!!

I usually drink green tea and have never tried black tea. When I went in to try out some new teas and told the lady that I am trying to replace coffee with tea, she handed me this and I just fell in love!! This tea not only smells great but the taste is very smooth and not over powering.
