A relaxing blend of lavender and chamomile with a slight citrus overtone.
Herbalists recommend lavender to treat migraines, ease digestive spasms, and for certain respiratory problems. Lavender is also used for soothing the nervous system.
Chamomile is pleasant and aromatic with a slightly bitter but fruity flavor. It is often sipped for relief of health problems ranging from toothache and headache to nervousness.
Ingredients: Lavender, chamomile, corn flowers, malow blossoms, lemon grass, and a hint of lemon and mango flavor. Origin: NM Tea Co. Blend Preparation:
Hot:
1 teaspoon per 8 ounces of fresh pure water at 212°F for 5-6 minutes.
Iced: For 1 gallon, bring half a gallon of filtered water to boil in a pot. Turn off heat, and add 3 tablespoons (1 oz of tea), let steep for 5-6 minutes. Strain the tea into the other half gallon of cool water and refrigerate. If you want to serve immediately, you can pour the concentrate over ice.
Health Notes: Chamomile should not be used during pregnancy. Chamomile is a member of the daisy family of plants which includes ragweed. Those with allergies to ragweed should avoid drinking chamomile tea.
