November 2007 Newsletter

News:
November first marked the year anniversary of New Mexico Tea Company. If you have been a customer since the beginning you will have seen the frequent re-arrangement of the furniture as we seek to make the most of our space. But the biggest change is in the teas we offer.

A year ago we only offered teas produced and packaged by other companies. However as we have grown, we are able to import and package many of our own selection of tea that you wont be able to find anywhere else. We have also shifted our focus to supplying customers with bulk, whole leaf teas by the ounce. However we have not forgotten the companies that helped us get our start, and today we still offer Octavia's fine teas in tins. (French breakfast, and vanilla chai have been a favorite)

As our reputation for making fine teas available at an affordable price has grown through both media exposure (Alibi Review) and word of mouth, so did our customer base. People have begun to stop in from all over Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Belen, Corrales, Placitas and even farther flung locales like Santa Fe, San Rafael and Las Cruces. Now, by offering our products on the web people from all over the world can get organic teas grown and processed in Datil, New Mexico, soaps handmade in Taos, pottery saggar-fired in Carrizozo, and art books from the Museum of New Mexico Press.

Please join us for a sample of hot chai and cookies every day from 10-12.
