This infuser is designed to fit inside your favorite tea mug or cup. Its advantage over a tea-ball is that its large, and gives the tea leaves room to expand.
It is said that the Dutch popularized tea infusers sometime during the early 1800s. Before that, loose tea was just steeped loose in the pot, making clean up more difficult.
Material: US-FDA approved 18/8 stainless steel (does not affect taste)
Care: Hand rinse with hot water. Do not use soap.
