Cornsilk are the long, smooth hairs found between a cob of corn and the husk and have been used as a soothing diuretic. Corn Silk can be used to help alleviate symptoms that go along with the following conditions: minor urinary tract infections, kidney stones and water retention.

Bring filtered or spring water to 212°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 7 minutes.
