Tippy leaves are hand-rolled and scented with the finest quality Fujian jasmine flowers. It has an excellent aroma and sweet aftertaste. This tea can be steeped multiple times, with the flavor and caffeine slowly decreasing in intensity with the next cup.

Extra Info:

Made from the top two leaves and the bud of new season growth (Late March /early April), these delicate leaves are then hand rolled into the small pearls. When you infuse these pearls in your teacup, you will see the top two leaves and the bud come to life. In fact you will see some small "hairy down" on the bud of the leaves - this denotes superb quality and very careful and delicate handling.

Brewing Instructions:

Bring filtered or spring water to 170°F. Add 1 tsp of tea leaves to an 8oz cup. Pour boiling water over the tea leaves and let steep 3 minutes.

Other Brewing Options:

Be sure to infuse these pearls more then once! Many people find the second infusion better then the first.

Reviews:

I've had a lot of jasmine tea and this one takes the cake. The scent and flavor of the jasmine is in perfect balance with the tea. The crafting of the pearls is wonderful to look at after steeping. I can't help but relax with this one. Heaven.

Like the other reviews, this really is the epitome of great Jasmine tea. I have friends and family from Asia and they can't believe how good it is. At first, I got the normal thanks, but later after trying it, they called me and asked me where did I get this exceptional tea. I bring them some on every trip.

This is quite possibly the best Jasmine tea I've ever tasted (and I've tried quite a few). The floral notes from the Jasmine are perfectly balanced with the bitterness of the green tea. If you like Jasmine Green tea at all, I highly recommend trying this one.

My favorite tea is jasmine and this is my favorite jasmine tea. Lovely jasmine aroma and taste, smooth with absolutely no bitterness.

Absolutely excellent. Like the Earl gray jasmine monkey king, and really all of the jasmine blended teas at NMTEAco, the jasmine is superb in this tea. I think David or whoever is sourcing the jasmine teas has a very discerning palette. Teas I directly import are not as nuanced as these jasmine teas. Back to this tea, first steep, like stated above, is good; but not the destination. I abuse the first steep with some turbinado and it calms me right down. Second steep needs no abuse, and like some noob friends stated unbelievably when I served them a second steep, "It tastes just like honeysuckle smells!" I think there is some more complexity to it than that, but the second and third steeps are just wonderful. There is a complex and delicate interplay between the jasmine scent you breathe in while you drink this tea and the taste upon your tongue, that can be completely lost if you are not careful about brewing this at 170 and pay attention to your tea measurement. And if you don't mind some light green tea tannin coming through, you will probably like the first steep un-abused as well.
