Show Description

Toss some tea into Manatea's BPA-free silicone rubber tail. Manatea is an ideal teatime companion (and a great listener).

She perches securely on the rim of your tea cup, so she fits all sizes of mugs and brews loose tea perfectly but won't fall in. Save waste and add fun to your tea-making with re-usable infusers and strainers in a variety of shapes.

For every Manatea we sell, we will put $2 towards adopting a manatea from World Wildlife Fund manatee program and savethemanatee.org.

So far we have adopted two manateas!

BETSY was named after Betsy Dearth, who was a ranger at the Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. Betsy the manatee is very friendly and curious and is quick to investigate anything new. Ranger Dearth called her, "the inspector." Betsy currently lives at the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden.
